Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician with Queen City Elite, you will serve as a key part of the team that keeps our luxury properties running at the standard our residents and clients expect. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repairs across our Charlotte portfolio, working quietly and efficiently to resolve issues before they're noticed — the kind of behind-the-scenes reliability that defines the QCE standard.
About the Role
Queen City Elite Services (QCE) keeps 13+ luxury properties across Charlotte running at the standard our residents and clients expect — and that starts with a well-maintained building. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to handle routine repairs and upkeep across our property portfolio, working alongside our concierge and janitorial teams to keep every location in top shape.
What You'll Do
Respond to and complete maintenance work orders across multiple Charlotte properties
Perform routine repairs: minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general fixes
Conduct light preventive maintenance (HVAC filters, lighting, door hardware, etc.)
Inspect common areas and flag issues before they become bigger problems
Coordinate with property staff and management to prioritize urgent repairs
Maintain basic tools/equipment and keep a simple log of completed work
Follow QCE safety and property-access procedures at each site
What We're Looking For
Required:
Experience with general building maintenance or handyman work
Comfortable with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
Reliable transportation to travel between Charlotte properties
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
Trustworthy and comfortable working independently in occupied properties
Preferred:
Experience in residential, hospitality, or property management settings
Own basic hand tools
HVAC or electrical certification
Compensation
$18/hour, 40 hours/week
